  • Fast video lens
  • maximum aperture of T 1.5
  • Lens with low dispersion (Extra low dispersion lens - ED)
  • Ultra Multi Coating (UMC)
  • aspherical glass lens (ASP)
  • soft, circular bokeh thanks to 9 aperture blades
  • click-free focus tracking
  • click-free aperture adjustment
  • suitable for Sony NEX system cameras

A fast Lens with a focal length of 21mm is predestined for use as an all-rounder.
Thanks to its imaging radius, the Samyang 21mm T1.5 ES AS UMC CS is suitable for reportage, portraits and lifestyle shots. Thanks to the open aperture of T1.5, there is still enough space even in poor lighting conditions. The manually focusable video lens is specially designed for use with mirrorless system cameras and is suitable for sensors up to APS-C format sensor size.

Cine-LensFeatures
The Samyang 21mm T1.5 ED AS UMC CS can be used with great precision thanks to the aperture stop markings and distance scale. A follow focus ring makes it easy to track the focus, while the aperture can be adjusted smoothly and silently. Both the distance scale and the f-stops are located on both sides of the tube.

Optical processing
With a T-number of only T1.5, it is possible to achieve top results even in poor lighting conditions. This is made possible by the construction of 8 lenses arranged in 7 groups. 3 aspherical ASP lenses ensure maximum resolution across the entire image. In addition, an ED lens has been installed to ensure extremely low dispersion. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) is responsible for optimum light yield and minimizes ghost images and flares.

Processing
9 aperture blades ensure an almost circular aperture. When the aperture is closed, highlights are displayed in a star shape. When the aperture is open, the bokeh becomes creamy and soft, allowing the object in focus to be separated from the background. The lens barrel is made of robust aluminum and impresses with its compact design. The compact size in combination with the low weight makes the Samyang 21mm T1.5 ED AS UMC CS the ideal companion for filmmakers who travel a lot and want to save weight without sacrificing light intensity. The lens hood included in the scope of delivery ensures perfect results even in difficult lighting situations.
