Aspherical fast standard lens with fine image quality.
Like all Voigtländer lenses with Sony E bayonet, this outstanding standard lens has electrical contacts for transferring EXIF data as well as support for the camera's internal 5-axis image stabilization and focus peaking function. The aperture can be adjusted in 1/3 increments and, unlike the VM version, can also be switched completely to silent and stepless, which will please videographers in particular. The optical construction consists of eight lens elements in six groups (two of which have aspherical surfaces), 12 aperture blades regulate the flow of light. The close-up limit is 45 cm.
