  • Rode Broadcaster condenser speaker microphone
  • specially developed for voice transmission/recording
  • Large diaphragm condenser capsule for front speech

Large-diaphragm condenser microphone with cardioid characteristic, which was specially developed for broadcasters.
The Broadcaster is picked up from the front thanks to the horizontally installed capsule. There is a pop protection under the microphone capsule, which effectively defuses explosive consonants. If required, a gentle high-pass filter can be activated, which works perfectly without eliminating the sonority that is so important for speakers. Incidentally, the sound characteristics of the Broadcaster are very similar to the "commercial" sound we are used to from radio and advertising, even without post-processing.

When activated accordingly, the "On-Air" LED on the body signals to the speaker that he is on air. Normally, the LED on the body lights up as soon as the Broadcaster is supplied with phantom power. However, if the enclosed 5-pin XLR socket is soldered in, the LED can be supplied with the corresponding "on-air" switching signals via pins 4 and 5.
