  • versatile all-round photo + video tripod
  • made of extremely light, robust aluminum + carbon
  • 35 kg load capacity with only 1.85 kg net weight
  • suitable for heavy DSLR + full-frame cameras
  • 95mm to 1.35m working height
  • 3 leg segments ensure a pack size of only 59.5cm
  • removable tripod plate + half shell for video cameras (Ø 75 mm)

The second strongest tripod in the Summit series can handle a load of 35 kg. Enough to provide a secure base even for heavy photo and video equipment. This is precisely the concept behind the Summit series from Leofoto, namely to support heavy professional equipment with a low dead weight. The three legs of the LM-363C each consist of three segments that can be extended to a maximum working height of 1,350 mm. And the minimum working height of 100 mm makes macro photography just as possible as shots from the particularly interesting frog perspective. The Summit LM-363C weighs just 1,850 g. Not a lot for a tripod in this class, even if it is made of the well-known lightweight carbon fiber. The pack size? 600 mm, which can be easily stowed and moved around in the transport bag supplied. The fact that the Summit LM-363C is also versatile and variable is demonstrated by the scope of delivery. It is by no means limited to the already mentioned, very practical carrying bag. A removable tripod plate, a 75 mm half-shell, rubber feet, stainless steel spikes and a multi-tool make the Summit LM-363C an all-round attractive carbon tripod for heavy camera equipment of almost any kind.

Leofoto Summit series - super-strong, yet lightweight carbon tripods
Similar in strength to the powerful tripods in the Leofoto Mountain series, the carbon tripods in the Summit series are, however, a good deal lighter. This makes them particularly interesting wherever bulky camera equipment is used for landscape, nature and sports photography. It is Leofoto's philosophy that the tripod legs of the Summit series, which are made of high-density, ten-layer carbon, all achieve top values in terms of bending stiffness, strength and vibration damping. All metal parts also meet the highest standards of durability and longevity. Manufactured from high-strength aircraft aluminum, they achieve their absolute precision and ease of movement thanks to the exclusively CNC-controlled production process - it could hardly be more precise. Together, the individual elements of the carbon tripods in the Summit series are designed to provide secure support for heavy photo or video equipment in particular. To ensure that vibrations and oscillations are dampened as much as possible, an extendable center column has been deliberately omitted.

If you still need one, it is available as an optional accessory. But that's not all: the tripod plate, equipped with a circular bubble level, is removable and can be replaced with a half-shell for video cameras, which is included in the scope of delivery. Optional accessories (e.g. a smartphone holder, a magic arm, etc.) can be attached to the 3/8" threads on the tripod plate. Depending on the model, the tripod legs consist of two, three, four or even five segments. It goes without saying that they always glide smoothly and are torsion-proof. And thanks to the practical, non-slip rubberized twist locks, they can be quickly loosened or fixed with ease. Non-slip rubber feet and a set of stainless steel spikes are also included as standard. Snow and sand feet can be purchased as optional extras. Conclusion: Enormously strong and hard-wearing, the tripods in the Summit series are excellent tools for demanding photographers who always want or even have to rely on the high quality of all their equipment.

Summit LM-363C carbon tripod - professional strength paired with high variability
It is no coincidence that the three leg segments with diameters of 36, 32 and 28 mm are particularly strong. After all, Leofoto has claimed a very respectable load capacity of no less than 35 kg for the Summit LM-363C. For this reason and in the interest of high stability, the number of segments per leg is also limited to three. It should be mentioned in passing that the LM-363C can thus be brought to full length or back to packing size more quickly than having to turn the Twistlock fasteners on four segments (per leg). However, these rubberized and non-slip twist locks are extremely comfortable and easy to use.

As with all models in the Summit series, the tripod plate can also be removed from the LM-363C. Its diameter is 75 mm. Equipped with a standard 3/8" and ¼" screw, it is ideally prepared to accommodate a wide variety of tripod heads on the global market - but preferably from Leofoto, of course. For videography, simply replace the tripod plate with the supplied half-shell, which also has a diameter of 75 mm. Video heads with a 75 mm hemisphere can then be attached. Heavy equipment is usually the preserve of professional photographers and cameramen. And professionals have high expectations of their equipment! The Summit LM-363C is ready to meet them with power, stability and extreme versatility.
