  • Light reduction by a full 10 f-stops
  • Filter factor 1000x
  • Density ND 3.0
  • F-stops +10

With ten f-stops of light reduction, this gray filter is even better than the B+W ND 106. People like to experiment a lot with this filter. Flowing water seems to merge into a mist. People moving in squares and streets become blurred or invisible. Some of these are extreme long exposures of up to one minute. The use of a stable tripod is required.

With the extraordinary light reduction by a full ten f-stops (filter factor 1000), type 110 continues what began with type 106: experimental photography with very slow shutter speeds. Light trails or passers-by walking on streets and squares become unrecognizable or even
"invisible". The flow effect with moving water becomes even more extreme. For physical reasons, the filter produces a slight warm tone, which can be removed using a white balance or image editing program.
